Who provides this app
(CR) CarRoutine (“CarRoutine”, “we”, “us”) is a vehicle maintenance and cost ledger for drivers. It is operated by Rasyid Pamungkas (Indonesia). This policy describes how information is handled when you use the iOS app identified as net.saffron.cedar.

What CarRoutine does with your information
CarRoutine helps you keep one place for service intervals, completed maintenance events, insurance renewal dates, odometer readings, and categorized vehicle expenses. Calculations—such as the next due date or distance threshold and period totals—are performed on your device from the values you enter. The app is designed to work as a local ledger; it does not diagnose your vehicle, verify insurance coverage, or import service history automatically.
Information you enter and store locally
All of the following stay on your device in a local on-device database unless you delete them or remove the app:
- Vehicle label, current odometer reading, and odometer unit
- Insurance renewal date (optional)
- Service schedules: service name, last completed date and odometer, interval by days and/or distance, optional estimated cost
- Completed service events: date, odometer, optional cost, and links to schedules where applicable
- Expense entries: date, amount, category, and optional note
We do not operate a CarRoutine sign-in account or cloud backup service as part of the product design described for this app. Normal launch starts from an empty local store; test or demo fixtures used for development screenshots are not loaded in a standard release install.
What we do not collect through the app design
Based on how CarRoutine is built, we do not receive your ledger contents on our servers through the app itself. The product documentation for this release does not describe embedded analytics, advertising identifiers, crash-reporting SDKs, or social sign-in. If that changes in a future version, this policy will be updated before or when those features ship.
CarRoutine does not read your odometer from the vehicle, pull policy data from insurers, or access external maintenance databases. Due and cost summaries you see are derived only from what you typed and saved locally.
Device date and reminders
Due status compares your saved intervals to the current odometer and to the calendar date on your device. CarRoutine shows upcoming items inside the app; it does not promise background push alerts or system notifications unless a future version explicitly adds them and updates this policy.
Network and third parties
Core garage and costs features are intended to function offline with your local records. Visiting these legal pages in a browser is separate from the app’s local storage. Apple provides distribution, updates, and device security; their handling of your Apple ID and App Store data is governed by Apple’s policies, not this document.
We do not sell your vehicle ledger data. Because data remains on your device, sharing with others happens only if you choose to export or disclose information outside the app (for example, by showing your screen or using device backup tools).
Retention and deletion
You can edit or remove individual service and expense entries, update mileage and dates, and use in-app settings to delete vehicle records and clear local data. Uninstalling the app from your device typically removes the local database stored with the app, subject to how iOS and your backups handle app data.
Email you send to support is kept only as long as needed to respond and maintain a reasonable support record.
Children
CarRoutine is a general utility for drivers managing their own vehicle records. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a CarRoutine account (none is offered).
International users
The operator is based in Indonesia. Your information stays on your device; if you contact us by email, your message may be processed on systems used to read and reply to mail.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
